I used photoshop to create this magazine cover; but I've done it by myself this time. Like always, making a magazine cover I had to use the rulers to make sure all of my writing was in line. I had to mask the top of the picture first, so I was able to put the writing 'Vibe' behind the picture of Kelly. When I had to the masking; i needed to use the Magic Wond Tool. I had used the colours of Kellys outfit (yellow and red) so that the colours were suitable for the front cover. I have used the same font, but i had changed the sizes, so it still looks as creative, and legiable.

You have chosen an image and masked it effectively and placed the masthead behind the main image.
You have added cover lines and you have used an appropriate selection of colours which match her outfit.
This is a merit.
The things you could do improve it are:
Change the VIBE masthead to capital letters so that it is a little more bold.
Ensure that you use appropriate alignment on your cover lines - they should be lined up left and right
Try to use a second font for your cover lines otherwise it may look a little repetitive.
